Hi mel, for the best answer you need to post more info, OK? Are you on a city water or wel? Type of pipes, softener, filter? Any work done recently? Post back and good luck

I was flooded out of my home last year and when we came back the whole water system was backing up we had all of that fixed.we told the plumbers about the cold water and they said it was because our pipes ran up hill and they prepositioned them.it had no effect. The home was built in 2000 I will have to do some research and get back to you thanks.

Let me understand , You had good cold waster pressure before the flood . Is that correct? If so your plumbers were dead wrong. You haven't said but you're on city water, right?
What did the plumbers say happened to your pipes during the flood?
he whole water system was backing up we had all of that fixed.
Please explain in detail what you mean. Back to you, Tom
