    Creditors taking me to court
    How do I stop a judgement on a bill that is way more than I charged.

    Make them prove the amounts in court, If the fees, interest and charges are all legal and have just been added because you have not paid the bills over a period of years,

    For example a 2000 dollar credit card bill, not paid for 2 or 3 years could fairly easily double because of late fees, over limit fees, and interest.

    If they can prove you legally owe a debt, you cannot stop a judgement.
    So go to the court hearing and demand they prove their case, or you prove with your paperwork where you don't owe that much
    That is why they have a court hearing
