    2 months no period!
I had sex January 11th, and was on the pill, had my period on time a week and a half after that. I then had sex February 8th, used a condom because I was no longer on the pill, and had my period on time after that, end of the month. That was the last period I've had. I've taken countless home pregnancy tests all negative. Even got a blood test from my obgyn on April 19th, because of a colposcopy surgery due to a abnormal pap smear in march, and that came back negative. I had sex on April 17th with a condom. It is May 6th still no period. Am supposed to have a bone spur removed this Friday the 11th so I'm a little stressed about the surgery but it's not my first so I don't know if this is stress related. I've never missed a period by this much and I've usually been on the pill but every time I've had sex I've used a condom. What gives?

Of course you know I am sure that first the pill is not 100 percent effective, and condoms are even less effective, Condoms have a average failure rate of around 10 percent. So becoming pregnant just using a condom is much higher than other forms of birth control.

My guess and of course without a doctors exam no one can be sure, but often your period will be off when you first go off the pill.

I agree with Chuck. You just got off the pill, so chances are that this change in your cycle is due to that. But, that's a guess. There's really no way that anyone on the internet can give you an accurate diagnosis. We can guess, but only that.

There is a chance that you're pregnant. I have to say that, because it is a very real possibility.

Please, test again before this surgery, and even if it's negative, make sure that you mention your 2 month delay to the doctor performing the surgery.

I wish you all the best.

I took a at home pregnancy test yesterday after I posted this and it came back negative. This morning I went and had blood drawn to check for pregnancy that was ordered by my podiatrist in order to be sure I am not pregnant before he operates. This is all just very frustrating as I did blood work on April 19th and it came back negative. Thanks for the advice and well wishes.
