Why would my wife stop her child support order
Would anyone know or have any idea why my wife would stop asking for child support? She had moved out of state and I have no address for her.
    Thanks.

Perhaps because she doesn't want any contact with you - that includes you knowing where she is.

Why is she asking for child support? Isn't it Court ordered?

How do you visit with your children if you don't know where your wife (and presumably your children) are? Is this against a Court Order?

The only reason I can see is to hide from you. However, that could be considered parental kidnapping. Especially if there is an existing visitation order.

Also, what do you mean by "stop asking". Is support court ordered or did she just keep contacting you for money? You also refer to her as your wife, not "ex" did you go through a divorce?

Some more background here including location (ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. ) may help us help you better.

Since when she moved, if there was a court order visits and custody, most likely she may be afraid you would have tried to stop the move or tried to make the child return back.

Also depending on how your relationship is, she may be hiding.

Also was it a court ordered support, if so, it is still in place and she does not "ask for it" you are just required to pay the court.

    More details are needed.
