My ex just received visitation rights and I am fine with that.. but he leaves my kids with his new girlfriend and I have no idea of the type of person she is other that she is my ex new girlfriend.. but now my 1 yr old son cries in the middle of the night, he came home with 2 bruises on his back, and when I asked him what happen, he couldn't tell me why, and then a couple of days ago I went to go get my kids from his house and she came to the door with an attitude and tossed my kids out the door to me causing my son to lose his balance and scrap his head on the concrete. But I must admit, I gave her a GOOD OLE FASHION TAIL WHIPPING for doing that to my child. But can I get a restaining order because if she did that to him in front of me, who know what she will do behind close doors, and my kids are 3 and 1 and what might seem like a game and be really harm..

You may try, it would really help to have someone other than you as a witness and a medical from a doctor on the child's injury,
