    How much jail time for violating probation with theft by taking
    I have 8 years probation and it's a felony.how many years will I get for probation violation

    Not all felony probation is the same was it for a felony DUI or a murder, or a armed robbery.

    How many years probation were you given, now many have you served. And were there any other minor violations, missed meetings, dirty UA ?

    Will you be sentenced to jail or prison for the new crime ?

    They can hold you or put you in prison for up to the max years you were given probation.
    So if you had 5 years probation, they can put you in prison for 5 years. But there are many factors that go into it.
