Like the title says it kind of hiccups when its hot outside and gets worse the hotter it is. When its cool or cold she runs like a dream.
The engine temp never goes above normal and nothing else seems off.

That sounds like a problem with either the Ignition Control Module (ICM) or the Engine Control Unit (ECU).
When the internal circuits become too heated, there is an intermittent open.
I would recommend replacing the ICM and retesting vehicle.

Try replacing the Ignition Control Module (ICM), being sure to apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM. Otherwise, it won't last long. If the problem persists, replace the coil. If the distributor cap and rotor haven't been changed in 60,000 miles, this is the time to do it.
