    Month to month lease requirements
    If I have given my 60 notice and I must move 2 weeks before the end of notice am I responsible for the balance when I am not in the apartment?

    Yes you are... for the ENTIRE month.

    Yes, unless they move another renter in before the end of that period. They can not collect rent twice from same rental. So if you move out and in one day they move someone else in. Or in a week, they may owe you a pro rated amount. But most likely they will clean and list and that would not happen.

    If you pay rent in adavnce then you are paid until the end of the month. They can not let someomone new enter a lease without releasing you and giving a prorated return, this only with your permission.
