I'm ovulating early - is this normal
I have been taking ovulation tests for a few months now and all the leaflets I have read say for my 27/28 day cycle I should be ovulating around day 10-14 from the 1st day of my period but I'm showing positive for ovulation around day 6 is this normal as I'm having difficulty getting pregnant.

It's not the average, but it is possible. When you test, is the result line as dark or darker than the control line? Unlike pregnancy tests, it would be normal to have a line appear much of the time with ovulation tests, it has to be as dark or darker to be positive.

If this is the case that you have seen, how many times have you gotten a positive around day 6? Some women will naturally ovulate a bit sooner (or later) than the average. It certainly wouldn't hurt to start trying right as your period ends.

I have been testing for the last 3 mnths (ovulation tests) and they have all been on day 6&7 and the line has definitely been as dark.

Im wondering I had the implant taken out of my arm after the 3 years it had been in which is when we started trying.. would this effect me getting pregnant now?

You may be one of the women who ovulate earlier than the norm then. The positive on day 6 or 7 lets you know that you are likely to ovulate within the next couple of days or so. Have you noticed a change in cervical mucus around the same time? Mucus that becomes more fluid and clear is another sign of your body preparing for ovulation.

Unlike depo provera, implanon shouldn't be a factor in fertility at this point.

How long have you been trying to become pregnant? Remember that it can take many months, even when all is well. Most couples will become pregnant within a year of trying, but some will find that it will naturally take a bit longer.
