    Environmentally kind gel
Hi I am trying to make an environmentally water based gel, I have started to look around and have found a few products that I like the sound of but I'm worried that they will set. I considered using Methyl cellulose, but I can only find it in massive bulk (by the tonne), I like the idea of gelatine, but I was wondering if there was anything else I should look at.
I want my final gel to have a texture close to hair gel, maybe a little more watery and for it never to set or dry out (if kept in a sealed container) also it should not dry out for an hour or so when in contact with air.

Hope you can give me some ideas,

Ps I am trying to make a product that can be spread on walls that will not drip.

    Many thanks

    Danny
