Okay so I have known my best friend since August (first day of school) and I have known my guy BFF since two years ago. Me and my guy BFF never really hung out until this year. Anna (my BFF)came over a month or two ago and we were playing truth or dare and I ended up telling her who I liked and I told her it was Dan (our guy BFF)

Let me give you a quick back story of Anna and Dan. They have been best friends since the first day of school too and were on the same team/pod but I was on a different one. We would only get to see each other at lunch. I moved a to the next town over 3 months ago and attended a new school. Anyway, Anna told me she liked him too. And it's kind of obvious that he liked her too. We hung out at the mall a few weekends ago and we had a good time. Me and Dan that is. We were talking, laughing and he would graze up upon me. But I didn't really think anything of it due to the fact we are like brother sister. Anna kept running away and leaving us so we had a lot of alone time. Also, she kept begging us to give her money to buy stuff too. And not like 2 or 3 dollars... more like $10-$15. Anyhoooo, we went into a shoe store to try some wedges on (me and Anna not Dan lol although we dragged him along) I was having difficulties getting my wedges on but Anna left again so I was about to take them off when he sat down next to me, propped my leg over his lap and said "no, I'm not letting you give up. I want to see you in those shoes!" it was kind of a Cinderella moment.. Then I kept tripping and stuff and he kept catching me.

Then we finally found Anna. We then left the store. There were a couple of punks being rude to Dan so I put my arm around them and told them off saying that he could get a girl while they were just hanging out with them-guys-selves. Anna joined in too. Then when we were out of their sight we all started laughing our heads off. Then we went into this really cool store and he offered to buy me a necklace. I told him no and that I didn't want him to waste his money on me (even though I basically voluntarily bought everything for him and anna) so then we left the mall.

I had to go home unfortunately but Anna crashed at dans house for a few days and then Anna informed me that Dan asked her out. I told her I was happy for her even though it stung a tiny bit. All she talks about now is him and it's kind of awkward. Although a few nights ago when she was sleeping over my house she had a melt-down saying that she thinks Dan likes me better and that we're closer than they are. I'm not sure what to do... Help?

You do nothing, but slip into the background and let them enjoy themselves without your shadow being there. She is to insecure and needs reassurance as she is already showing jealous thoughts of you being a friend to HER boyfriend.

Awkward, but you have to understand this about her, and step back.
