I am 21 and I need a help , I had my menstrual cycle on 17-21april and on 22 I had sex with my boyfriend . I took ipill on 22 of April
But now yest I.e on 28 I am getting bleeding and I am not able to get is this the period I have got or something else am I pregnant or what I am not able to decide I am in full stress and tension it should not effect my health as well.. . Please doctor please help me please do suggest me what I am supposed to do and what has happened to me .

I am not a doctor, but can help answer your question. When you take the ipill, it can be normal to have some bleeding afterwards. It can also be normal to have an irregular cycle at first.

While unlikely, it is possible that you are pregnant, even with using the ipill. More than likely you aren't, but no form of birth control, even emergency birth control, is 100% effective.

You will need to wait and see what happens when you would expect your period for May. Most likely your cycles will be regular again by then.

If you are going to continue to have sex, be sure to use a proper form of birth control. Your partner should always use a condom and it would be wise for you to use a reliable form of contraception as well to lessen the odds of an unplanned pregnancy. Do keep in mind that emergency birth control, such as the ipill, should not be used as regular birth control.
