    Most fertile
If my period is on the 13th would I be right in saying that I will be most fertile on the 26th? I know you are not meant to have sex everyday because of the males sperm but I don't understand when it is best to have sex in the morning or at night or does it not even matter?

It all depends on your cycle. From what you have said you most fertile day is on the 26th. You need to remember though it is even good to have sex a day or two before your fertile. The reason is the sperm can live inside the women for up to 5 days. So in reality even making love before your fertile days and during is optimal. A couple of days before and during your fertile cycle.

Now here is the kicker. This is just some advice from experience as well. Stressing out on days and cycles and when you ovulate. Putting such an importance on these can be stressful and could prevent pregnancy as well.

My advice is to RELAX AND LET IT HAPPEN.

    Joe.

You usually ovulate 14 days before your period starts on a 28 day cycle, but it is possible to ovulate more than once in one month without knowing (refer to Women can ovulate more than once a month - 09 July 2003 - New Scientist ) It is recommended to have sex, 2 days before during and after ovulation for the highest chance of success, but at the end of the day, it all depends on how fertile, you and your partner are. Good luck.

The best advice I have been given was to 1. relax 2. enjoy yourselves and have fun 3. have sex every other day from the end of your period to the beginning of your next. Hopefully you will fall pregnant, but remember, don't stress and do relax! It really doesn't matter what time of day you have intercourse as long as it is good for you and your partner... no 'scheduled' intercourse! Good luck!
