When did emancipation law change to 21 from 18 in Indiana
I am just curious what year did Indiana change the emancipation law for child support. When I was young child support ended at the age of 18 now it is 21... and I guess is going to change again July 1 this year to 19.

Indiana is one of the states that it has bounced around a bit. The last settlement was that it ends at 18 but there is a stipulation in the law for it to continue to 21.

The 18 and finished high school rule applies.

Many states are in debate and change things almost yearly through amendments.
