My husband and I have been trying to conceive since January 2012. I have a regular 22-23 cycle and my period follows the same monthly pattern. My last period was on March 30th, so I would have been due for my next on Saturday the 21st or Sunday the 22nd. As of today I have still not received my regular period. However, since Sunday evening I have experienced very light bouts of dark brown discharge, but still no period persay. I took HPTs on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and today. On Saturday and Sunday there was nothing, but yesterday there was a very very faint line (almost to the point that it was not visible, but my husband did see it as well). Today, there was again a very faint line, although a tiny more visible than yesterday's. I went to pick-up a digital hpt today and will take it first thing tomorrow morning to be certain. Since my last period I have had sore breasts, headaches, 1 about of dizziness, etc. I am worried because this same sort of cycle happened back in February. I had a brown discharge for 7 days and then bright red blood for 2 days followed by the release of something that was small and white/grey in color. My doctor and OBGYN think that I may had a miscarriage, although I did not know if I was actually pregnant or not. I am so nervous and any advice, help or tips would be appreciated. With your last happening, it does sound like a miscarriage to me. If that's the case, I am sorry for your loss. Now, I know when the embryo attaches itself to the wall of the uterus, most people will experience some light bleeding or discharge, like you've claimed. And from the looks of the pregnancy tests you've taken, I'd say you are! The only way to be sure is to visit your doctor And have a blood test taken. All the best to you!
