    401 k hardship withdrawal?
    I have requested a hardship withdrawal from my 401k to pay some medical bills I sent in all the required paper work about a week ago and I checked the status of it online today and it says pending does that mean that it will be approved?

    No, it means it's under consideration - awaiting decision.

    No pending merely means it is pending a decission to be made.
