Scotts, Kohler Command 17.5 by John Deere won't stay running
I have a Scotts Kohler Command 17.5 riding mower, made by John Deere, that always starts but recently it will not keep running. Yesterday I sprayed some carburator cleaner in the bowl and it ran for about 10 minutes, then it began to stall and wouldn't continue to run. It seems like it is starving for fuel or something is cutting the supply off. I am somewhat mechanical so if you give me some ideas, I can probably fix it. HELP ME PLEASE

    Hi,
First things to do is try loosening the fuel cap and replacing the fuel filter.
    Peace,

I have the same problem with mine. I can't help but think it's the fuel filter. Im going to try bypassing the fuel filter altogether.
