    I have sole legal custody. Can I get my daughter's last name changed...
    I have sole legal custody and I'm wanting to chamge her last name. Her dad hasmt.been her in life due too being in prison for child abuse. Is there any way I can change her last name without his consent?

    You still need to seek his permission. Its possible it may be granted anyway but the courts will ask you to try.
