I have a gold plate, goblet and cutlery. Dated 1865
I can't identify the hall marks. It has GA then a lion then a pumas head, an h, a ladIes head and numbers 972. It is very ornate with cherubs and grape vine all over. I want to value it and find itS origin. It is inscribed... presented to Fanny Mary Thompson( MY GT GT GRANDMOTHER) by her Godfather William Stubbs 19th October 1865.
The goblet has 282 on it and the crest of a fist holding a thistle and a rose with INDUSTRIA MURUS.
ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY RECEIVED.
