What does the "eviction" on your door say? If you are being notified that you will be evicted, she will probably be taking you to court, at the end of whatever notice period she gave you, for an order of eviction.

First, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. We also need more details here.Do you have a lease? If so, when does it expire? Is your rent up to date? Does the lease (current or original) say anything about maintenance and upkeep? Is this a private residence or an apt complex?

Generally, a landlord can terminate a tenancy at any time with sufficient notice unless there is a lease in force. You can be given a notice to vacate and, if you do not they can go to court for an eviction order.

P.S. I merged your two posts. Please don't ask the same question in different threads.

    Perhaps. See ScottGem's response above.

If it's a proper "eviction notice", it will say "get out within ___ days", or something to that effect. If not, it's not the notice she is required to give you.

We can't reliably tell you how many days she has to give you unless you first tell us where you are.
