Loan from a private individual from abroad
Hi. I am new to this forum. I read several threads and find it really interesting.

This is my first question here.

Does a resident of U.S. have to file anything or pay any taxes if he or she receives a loan from a private individual from overseas through money transfer made from overseas bank to US bank account?

    Thank you.
