    Prove signature on painting
    I have a oil painting that is a picture of some ducks in flight in a marsh. The signed name is Bailey I believe. How can I determine if this if a famous artist? I was going to sell it but not sure who painted it.

Hi there, I live in Melbourne Australia and a friend of mine is being forced to pay a loan which appently they "signed" for. This person tells me that they didn't sign the document and I believe them. I was just wondering how one would go about proving the signature wasn't made by them? Thank you.
