    Month to month rental agreement
    I have a month to month rental agreement with a tenant in sarasota fl and I would like to evict him. How do I go about that? Thanks

    Here is the process to evict in Sarasota SARASOTA : Clerk of Circuit Court & County Comptroller However, if this is a home or apartment, just give him a 30 day notice to vacate and that you are not renewing the month to month agreement. You can't just evict for no reason but you can end the agreement.

    In FL you can give a 14 day notice to terminate a month to month tenancy. You don't need to evict unless he refuses to vacate. On the other hand, 14 days is not much time, so you may want to give him a little more time.

    You don't say why you want him out.
