    When is enough enough ?
3 years ago my husband an I were married , found the prefect house to make our home and we thought the right nighborhood. WRONG! We have had the police called on us for too many visiting guest during the summer. The city called on us cause my husband trimmed back the branches to our apple tree,For too mnay garbage cans set out for trash day. And oil stains in our parking area front of our home, too many family cars during christmas, Thanksgiving, and summer bbq's. Had the Animal control called due to our dogs barkin through out the day and night when our teenage kids would sneak back in the house.and for a lack of animal care. Have had CPS ( Children's Protective Services ) called and have come out because are grandkids have played outside in the front yard with all the other nighbor kids. ( unsupervised) during the day time with "kids at play " signs set up.
We have had 7 nighbors sign a pettiton for various compliants that have ALL come out to be unwarranted. Now we are having CPS called an coming out again because the same trouble causing nighbor has claimed that our 4 yr old grandson has exposed himself to a 7 yr old boy an touched his boy parts.

I and my husband have asked our kids not bring the grandkids over when they go out on appointments. I have had enough and want to know what step to take next

An Attorney is the next step. Are there neighborhood rules of some sort? Are they written down? Is there some sort of communityh watch group?

I would have an Attorney write the people who are giving you difficulty (you have names on a Petition and must know some of the others) and advise them what happens to people who make unfounded complaints OR harass people - and that includes being dragged into Court, being sued, things along those lines.

This is a legal board. People who answer here do great research, are practicing Attorneys, have gone to law school, work in the legal profession.

It is not a chat board or a converation site.

Please keep your advice to that of a legal nature. I understand you are trying to help but this woman has asked a legal queston and was undoubtedly expecting an answer from a legal standpoint.
