Can I speed up title by notice to owner of record in FLA for a home I have squate
Someone told me that there is a way to serve notice to the owner of record for a Florida property, to speed up the otherwise 7 years needed to take title to a home that was abandoned for over 3 years. I have been a squatter there for 3 months now and improved the property. It was a wrect. Now it is clean and livable, yard fenced and maintained, etc.

What is the method if that is possible. Someone told me that if you try to serve notice on the owner of record, with no response, you can claim title after 30 days.
