Rental Income on a G-4 visa
I hold a G-4 visa, married to a US citizen. In 2011 we rented our house and moved to a new house. My husband claimed the mortgage and other expense deductions on the house when we were living there.

We are married but filing separately. Can my husband show the entire rent and claim the deductions.

Or do I include half of the rent as income in my 1040 NR, and can I claim half of the insurance and mortgage interest as deductions?

    Thanks.
