    House framed with 2 x 3 studs & doors are pre hung for 2 x 4 studs
I have a problem, bought a house to remodel a few years ago, also bought some materials to do the rehab, like doors, fixtures etc.. All the doors are solid core interior framed for 2 x 4 walls, just started to remove old and replace, and in doing so I find out that the interior walls are studded w/ 2 x 3, I spent a nice amount for the doors, is there a way to get around this problem with trying to liquidate all 12 doors.

If I am reading correctly u bought prehung doors.

U will have to dismantle to door jambs and rip them down to the size of to wall width plus 1/16''. Do not cut the hinge side. Use a planer blade in saw.

If u have a bench saw or radial arm saw this is an easy thing to do. A hand power saw can be used but the cuts will not be as accurate.

Thank you, I was thinking the same thing, but sometimes have had problems in the past with dismantling of the pre hung frames, getting them back together sometimes poses a problem. I will get er done, thanks again.
