For a week I have been experiencing ear loss but only at short amounts of time so I thought it was nothing. My mom told me to clean it with salt water on march 28 and that didn't work. The next day on my birthday my dad keept asking me to speak up saying I was talking inaudibly when I sounded at regular voice level to myself. I'd look up methods on the Internet and plug my right ear so I can hear out of my left but it just sounds muffled. Could it be serious damage? Its been about 10 days and I still can't hear out of my left ear and there was no progress with the methods I found on the computer. Some times I hear ringing in my ear but that was when it first started and surprisingly no pain. Should I see a doctor?

Yes it could be serious, you should have it looked at. Have you been telling your parents of all of this?
