How does one change the blades on a Harbor Breeze Airspan model #77461 ceiling fan?
I do not see the two screws securing the center cap which has to be removed first.

If you don't see 2 screws on the bottom, their may be three on the side, on this one it may twist off counterclockwise.
Not sure about this model, but Most have to have light kit removed first to access the screws, some have a small area that you must rotate the blades to 1 position for each screw,
Some have one big turn knob on the top, and some even use spring clips to release, no tools needed.
    This covers most fans.
I will take a look for this model.
    Good Luck

I have one of these fans too, and one blade was broken by my 2 year old... I would definitely be interested in buying a blade if anyone has one.

[email protected] is my email. Thanks!

I went to Lowe's and bought "Universal Fan Blades" Item # 0198852 Model #40368
Took one of the old blades, used the supplied drill bit for alignment, laid it out and drew its outline.
Cut one and it fit fine, but it is a little heavier so I added weight to the opposite blade and it worked fine.
Later I will cut a second one so the weight will be the same and paint them silver.

You may be able to get a high school wood shop to cut it for you.

    Old school stills pays off!
