I need help also, Your story is mine today. My daughter is 14 as well, the sad thing is she doesn't have a boyfriend and is just having sex with random people. I found all this out in a today span. She also admitted to smoking pot. Her grades has dropped from a 80+% to a 67% within 4months. I feel like I'm losing a battle that started without me knowing. Please someone help me. (tears)

You have only just found all this out, so now you can act, dry your tears and take the bull by the horns.

First thing is your daughters health, get her a complete overhaul by a doctor, speak to the school about her grades and the school counsellor.

Talk to your daughter, reconnect with her, and get your whole family on board, its too much for you to burden on your own.

It's a new day and there's a new sherrif in town (YOU), you start from scratch building up the trust again, bring her to and from school if you have too, you monitor her every move, who she sees, wheres she goes, and what she does.

If the school counsellor is not helpful look into other avenues, independent counsellors, a pastor or priest.

Get your husband/partner/ family on board with decisions.

Teenagers can be torture, don't beat yourself up over the past, now that you know what's going on you can do something, and its going to be hard.

Whatever decisions you make, stick to them, don't forget she does not need you to be her friend right now, you're her parent, if tough love gets her back on the straight and narrow then do it.
