    Bad Tasting Danze pulldown faucet.
I recently installed a Danze pulldown faucet. The water tasted like rubber and I had a severe allergic reaction to it with tongue swelling. It has really scared me and I want to know if the reaction was to the rubber or a chemical on it

Hi anahpylaxing and Welcome to The Plumbing Page. At AskMeHelpDesk.com. You're responding to a 3 year old dead thread so I gave you one of your own. Look in then upper left hand corner of the first post form the date before you post, Thanks, How long did you run water to flush out the valve? Did you remove the aerator and then run the water? I don't have a clue as to why your tongue swelled up. That's a new one on me. Does the hot water smell worse the cold or are they both the same? What have you done so far? Bank to you, Tom

Do you have latex or rubber allergies? If so, then you certainly could have had a reaction, but would need to contact Danze to see what they use in their faucet/spray hose to be sure!

You may need to replace the faucet entirely!

    Please answer Tom's questions,OK?

I have the same problem with a Danze I installed. Not allergy thank god but can this problem be fixed? E.g.) will it go away after time??

Bad tasting wine - what do you do? [ 9 Answers ]

I was at a restaurant and ordered a $68 bottle of wine. The wine list said it was a 2002 Schlumberger cab but the server brought a 2003. She did not point out that fact and I did not make an issue of it. When the wine was opened, there was about a quarter inch of sediment on the end of the cork....

Bad tasting water [ 1 Answers ]

We were having a problem getting hot water because we have a long run from the hot water heater to the kitchen and bathroom. The plumber recommended and installed a recirculating device near the hot water heater. Now the cold water from the taps tastes bad... a very strong taste of plastic.
