    Hi nura123,

First, I just wanted to say that if you are considering becoming sexually active, it would be wise to see a gyn and discuss birth control options. They can also do an exam and ease your mind about this and your concerns about possible breast cancer from your other post. Ideally you won't be considering it for quite sometime as even with birth control, pregnancy can, and does, happen.

That one section of your labia is a bit longer than others is not uncommon and doesn't have anything to do with having scratched when you were younger. Everyone is shaped a bit differently. As women go through puberty, this part of their body also changes.

You may be noticing just general vaginal odor. Do you notice it more at certain times of the month? Is there any itching or burning? Any unusual discharge? Proper hygiene is important and can usually keep odors under control.

Since there can be various causes for odor, and even for discoloration, this would be another good reason to see a gyn. Ask your mother, or another trusted adult, for help in setting up an appointment. Better to put your mind at ease so that you don't have to be worried about what might be going on and take care of any problem if there is one.
