    Wallpaper removal problems
The previous owners of my house wallpapered the bathroom directly on the sheetrock. I need suggestions on what to do since I can't remove all the paper without ruining the sheetrock. Should we just get the color off and texturize it them prime and paint it or does anyone have another suggestion. Thank you

You can buy or rent a wallpaper steamer, but you may want to contact your local hardware store to find out if there is a better solution.

I found this on the hgtv web site, maybe it could help too.

Even after you strip the paper from the drywall, you just need to skim coat the walls with spackel and do some light sanding
