I have a 2001 F250 7.3 diesel with a reman. Engine with 60,000 miles. Started getting oil in my water,(not water in my oil). Took off oil cooler and had tested, it was good. Any other suggestions.

After about an hour of driving, shut engine off will crank but won't start. Wait an hour to two hours and starts right up.

I'm looking for a 3/4 ton pick-up and noticed there are a lot of Ford F-250's for sale that have the "Power Stroke" 6L diesel engine. A friend of mine told me to stay away from them because they have problems, but couldn't be more specific. Anybody know the history on these engines?:confused:
