How do I get to the hex flange bearing on a super bronco 13at609g766
I am trying to replace the hex flange bearing on a troybilt superbronco. 13AT609G76637747 I was told to remove the gas tank and would have access to it. I found no access to it this way. Can I get to it by removing the desk and going it that way?

I put mine on its back, so the seat was back to the ground, had a friend holding it up, with the deck removed. Then I was able to pull the steering column out enough to slide the new hex flange bearing in from the space just to the left of where it goes. I used one of those extending magnet pens to grab the bearing and maneuver the steering column through it and screw on the gear and nut.

Troy Bilt Super Bronco [ 1 Answers ]

Looking for a diagram of a Super Bronco deck. Had to replace a tension spring but don't think is in the correct place. The diagram in the manual isn't too clear on the springs placement. The belt is very loose and doesn't have the cutting power it used to.
