    1099 vs W2
I'm a doctor, I am an employee of a Professional Group owed by the hospital and I have a office away from the hospitals location. I am paid under the Professional Group for office hours. I recvd a W2. The hospital is issuing a 1099 Misc (non-employee)for my coverage at the Hospital (on call, Hospitalist, etc). My bonus was also included on the 1099.
Is this right? It doesn't seem right to pay the SE tax? What do you all think?
