Hey, I'm 16. And I think I might be pregnant. Me and my boyfriend have been together for about a month and a half. We had sex for like a whole week. I took a test to see if I was and it said no. Then I started my period the day after. I'm really worried and scared about what my parents will say. I know he wants a baby. And I've been having really bad cramps. And sharp pains through my back and tummy. I'm craving so many foods.. Please help!

I bet he doesn't want a baby when he finds out he's going to be paying for it at least the next 18 years if he likes it or not and he finds out how much it costs and how little he's going to make at his age particularly without a diploma. And you when you find out its going to be months before you get to sleep more than a couple hours at a time. And everything you did as a kid stops because the new baby is more important to take care of.

If you are afraid to tell your parents, or be a parent... you shouldn't be having sex... we just had a thread of yet another girl that was on the pill AND used condoms and still got pregnant. I tried to find it and forget which it was... but we have two moderators here that got pregnant using THREE forms of birth control correctly at the same time.

You have to wait at least a couple weeks AFTER you think it happened before a HPT test can register if you are... too early will give you a false negative. Give it another week or so depending on when this happened.

Yes, how old is he, wanting and knowing what a baby does to change your life, no more running the streets with his friends, if he is still in high school, most likely no more sports or after school things, he will be working a job to help start paying baby bills.

Of course your life changes completely, and sorry but most likely "daddy" will be gone before the child is even born.

At 6 weeks, why are you already having sex with him, and most likely unprotected. Getting pregnant is one of the least things to worry about.

First of all calm down. How old is your boyfriend? You say he wants a baby, but do you want one too?

You are too young to have a child and raise it. Having a child is a huge responsibility and is very taxing both physically and emotionally.

Since your test came negative and you've got your periods chances are that you are not pregnant. But to be doubly sure take the test again. And please do not indulge in anymore unprotected sex.
