    Splicing stranded to solid copper wire
    Can I splice stranded 14 gage wire to solid 14 gage wire?

    I would twist the strands tight and use a wire nut.

    I was just looking at this post today, and didn't notice a solid conductor in a car or truck. I wouldn't use solid wiring in Vehicles of any type. Unless something out of the ordinary or for a specific reason.
