    Electrical connections--need help
    What are the colors for a power point connection, I have white, black and red, what goes were, and which is earth?

    Where are you located? In the USA green or bare wire is ground or earth. White is the neutral, black is a hot. Red is frequently another hot line but most commonly used as a traveler wire with a 3 way switch. What are you connecting your wires to?
