    I must assume this is an ordinary washer type faucet so tell me if it isn't. Remove the handle, screw frequently hidden under a emblem or logo plate, lossen the packing nut below the handle and lift off. Slip the handle back on temporarily and back the stem out counterclockwise. Why do you ask?

    Your telling me that to remove the stem you just turn it clock wise,
