My 10wk old pug puppy is having accidents in the house (m)
We have been taking him outside at least every hour or two, and will crate him if we can't watch him. We have had him for 11 days and he has had several "accidents" in the house, and we always take him outside when he is caught in the act. I have been cleaning the spots with pet cleaner, so hopefully I am getting the scent out... We always take him out the same door.

How long is it going to take for him to understand that he needs to go to the door and we will take him outside?? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere!

    Thank you:)

At that age he may need to go out more than every hour or 2. You really need to learn to read him and take him out when he shows signs of needing to go out. Schedules work better later. Much of what you need is in the housebreaking section of the sticky, https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/dogs/i...tml#post251809 Also see the ''What does a puppy need?'' section.

Cross eyed pug puppy [ 1 Answers ]

My male pug puppy is 8 weeks old and we just got him yesterday. He appears to be cross eyed - except the opposite way i.e. his eyes both roll to the outer sides. The owner we bought him from said that this would resolve itself as he grows up but I just wanted a second opinion!
