There are 2 wired receptacles on 2 walls in my living room. They contain 2-prong recessed electrical outlets which I'm guessing were for some kind of plug-in light fixtures. They are wired to a common junction box in the attic and are always on. I would like to remove the outlets and replace them...
Dual Light Switch won't control lights separately only simultaneously. Help!

It is an older house. I have 3 separate black wires and a bundle of white wires tied together inside the box. It is supposed to control a patio light and a kitchen light on the 2 switches on the dual switch, but they either both turn on or both turn off. Thank you.

Thanks for your input. I finally was able to reverse the wiring and got it squared away. While I was in the attic I thought I would replace the motor which drives the fly wheel. I thought I was a hero till I put everything together and discover 4 flashing lights. The lights indicate "open high...
