    insufficient information; taken at face value 1/10 = 10% or 0.10, n/30 = a number divided by 30, expressed together it might mean .10 x n/30

    after having reviewed another question here it could mean a 1% discount if paid in 10 days and nill discount if paid in 30 days always provide the context when asking a question.
