    Form 8843 current nonimmigrant status
I searched and nobody has answered this specific question. Please help!

I left the US in September last year. I was a student on F1 visa.

Now I am filing as non-resident alien for US tax purposes.

What should I fill in line 1b of the Form 8843 "Current nonimmigrant visa status"?

I am no longer in the US and I have no I-94. So what should I write there?

Please help. Bumping this up to get an answer.

There should be some way to show that I was in F1 status last year.

Write "NON-RESIDENT ALIEN"; F-1 visa expired on (give expiration date or date you left the U.S.)".
