    AM I Pregnant?
    I had my last period on 12feb.and me and my husband had sex on my ovulation day i.e. 26-27 feb.I had sore breasts,I had increased hunger and mood swings.I thought I had conceived as had all the pregnancy symptoms.I was due for my next periods on 10mar.I missed the date.and today on 13mar I have started bleeding with heavy lower abdominal cramps.what is this?am confused.

    It is likely your period. It is not uncommon for cycles to be off a bit here and there. See if it continues similar to what you would normally expect. If you had indeed become pregnant, it could be a very early miscarriage. Many women have them but never know it because it was too soon to know if they were pregnant or not.

    If it becomes worse with bleeding and cramping, contact your gp. If it is pretty similar to your usual period, that is likely what it is. Unfortunately the possible symptoms felt before a period can be much the same for early pregnancy. You can't always go by symptoms alone until you miss a period and get a positive test result.

    How long have you been trying to conceive? Are you able to have sex frequently throughout each cycle? Are you concentrating just on the days you believe that you might be ovulating?
