    Ask a public defender?
I recently was pulled over for an outdated registration In Bucks County, PA. The cop did its normal checking insurance and license. When the cop returned to my window she said that my license was suspended that was related to a DUI I havd back in 2009, in Schuylkill Coounty, PA. It was my first offense. My license was suspended for 30 days, I completed 10 hours of community service, completed ARD classes and was on probation for a year. Now at the end of this week I am due to be in court. They are saying that I was driving on a suspended license. I do not have money for a lawyer. I was just wondering what to expect.

You can expect to be found guilty if you don't prove they were wrong.

You will need the proof from the ARD classes and your probation officer that you did all of that.
After it was finished you would have sent it all into the DMV to have your drivers license re-instated. So all of that paper work.

You should also follow up with the DMV

You at times can not afford not to have an attorney. You may have a 1000 dollar or so fine, lose your drivers license for a year or more, and even possible jail time,

Procedures are different in different parts of the country, and I don't know exactly how they do it in Bucks County, or in Pennsylvania for that matter. But in general, a PD is appointed to represent you if
    • it's a serious charge (where I come from, for example, possible jail time of 30 days or more); and
    • you cannot afford to hire your own attorney.

So when you are arraigned (asked to plead guilty or no guilty), they might first ask you if you want an attorney. If you are determined to be unable to pay for your own attorney, the court may consider whether to appoint the PD agency (or perhaps another attorney) to represent you.

Did you ever receive you licenses back? I mean physically being able to hold it in your hand? I know here in NY , when your licenses is suspended, you have to surrender it to DMV.
Better find some proof that your licenses was, in fact, reinstated.
