Legal term clarity & production order
I honestly feel a little dumb asking for clarity on this... I know someone who was given 5 years probation, 6 months in jail and a suspended sentence with completion of drug/alcohol classes & fine. Does this mean that once the classes are completed and the fine is paid that he is absolved of his probation? Or does this mean his probation doesn't start until the classes & fine are completed?

Also, in regards to a production order being filed by an inmate to get the court process going for a hold he has in another county... How long does said county have to respond and/or set a court date for the impending charges?

Thank you for any help at all!
