Failure to move a trailer house in Montana.
Property was recently purchased in Montana that had a Trailer house on it. The contract for the property gave the previous owner 120 days to move said trailer house, so that it could be used. The contract did not state anything about rent or fees thereafter the 120 days. Can a written notice still be given stating fees and rent that shall be charged if the trailer is not moved? Or does the trailer now have to moved at the owners expense and just hope that one day you get the money from the move?

    I don't see why not.

At the expense of the owner of the land? That's one option.

Another would be to get an estimate to move it, sue the trailer owner for that amount, collect the judgment (Good luck on that.) and use the judgment proceeds to get the trailer moved. That assumes the trailer owner has some place to move it to. Otherwise, I would sue the trailer owner for a judgment awarding you (You own the land, I assume.) the right to sell the trailer, get paid for your trouble, and pay the balance, if any, to the trailer owner.

I do not see that it can be charged during the 120 days, after the 120 days, you can charge them fees, or sue them for the money to have it removed.
