WHY? In converted in islam before 4 years. I just knew about not allowed bf/gf thing when I as my friend to be my girlfriend. Then she answer me,"I like you to stay as my special friend". I really really love her but when I read some information about this subject I lose my hopes.She is a very nice girl.
Can any one tell where its written in quran that girls are not allowed to have a boyfriend. That's the only thing I believe. I don't care what others say, I believe only what the quran says. Allah-u-akber.

First, congratulations on finding your way to Islam.

Now, there is no actual word 'boyfriend/girlfriend' in the Quran.
But we are told girls are not to be around boys alone. We are not to flirt or show off for each other.

I think the one who tell that girls are not allowed to be with girls are the old ancester. Because on old times its not merry with love (its still in some muslim country) its force marrige. It the CULTURE. Is it written in quran that you can force other people.

Yes, but the Quran also says, that when a man and woman are unmarried, and alone, then Satan is always a 3rd presence.
