Writ in Michigan can they siege the refund if I file jointly
I have a writ garnishee from a credit card debt ,that I can not afford to pay. I am on social securty I remarried in 2010 and have a different last name my husband and I filed a joint return this year . My question is will they keep the refund even if it is not my husband debt

I see lots of post here about bank account garnishment, but no one every updates as to what steps they took after the fact. I'm wanting to know exactly what I need to do in order to file a motion to dissolve a writ of garnishment on my bank account? Has anyone had any luck with this as of yet?
